David W. Budzinski
Chief Executive Officer
David W. Budzinski is President, Residential and Light Commercial, Global Products, responsible for driving growth and expanding market share across our more than $5 billion residential and light commercial ducted and ductless product portfolios.
He expanded his role as President of Residential and Light Commercial to include global leadership of Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning in November 2023.
With deep experience across commercial operations, finance, product, sales and strategy, David joined Johnson Controls in 2006 and has been integral to the transformation of Global Products. Earlier, as vice president of commercial excellence, he drove the business’s sales capacity and customer excellence programs, launching leading go-to-market strategies and executing critical global channel expansion activities. Prior to that, he held key roles including vice president and general manager of our Digital Solutions business and vice president of distribution and channels in the Middle East and Africa across controls, chillers, air systems and ducted systems.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and commercial real estate from Marquette University.
Nobuyuki Tao
Chief Financial Officer
Nobuyuki joined the Johnson Controls group (former Johnson Controls Automotive Systems, currently Adient) in 2010 after working for several leading global companies in the automotive industry. After joining Johnson Controls Automotive Systems, Nobuyuki successively held financial leader’s positions for key customer business units, including Asia Finance Director for Nissan Customer Business Unit, Global Finance Director for Toyota Customer Business Unit, and Global Finance Director for Nissan Customer Business Unit. Since 2014, Nobuyuki was leading the commercial finance team of the $5 billion business, the Global Asian Customer Group as Global Finance Director.
Nobuyuki joined Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning in June 2017, and was appointed as CFO in December of the same year.
Nobuyuki holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Brigham Young University in Utah, U.S.A.
